All About Love (2005)

While watching this a few hours ago, I cried truckloads of tears at the cinema. Ok, maybe not exactly truckloads, but a decent amount of tears did make their way down my cheeks.

It was a sad, intriguing tale of love lost and the memories that bind us. An old fashioned romance tear-jerker on loss, regret and redemption, done to precision. This movie somehow connects with the audience (yours truly) well and reminded me many a sad memories.

Those few hospital scenes, coupled with both Charlie Young's and Charlene Choi's deep breathing and very last moments on their deathbeds struck a chord in me. It clearly describes how a terminally ill person feels and how the latter do not wish to die. A tragic romantic tear-jerker that is comparable to any Korean or Taiwanese drama anytime !
