November, the Birthday Month

It is gonna be my birthday soon in a couple of days' time ! Tomorrow (7 November) will be my boss' birthday. Another new colleague of mine will turn 27 on 19 November. My ex-Secondary school mate will also be 26 on the 19th. I do know of some people whose birthdays fall on the 4th, 6th, 15th, 23th and 30th ! All in November !

Even my deceased paternal grandfather's birthday is in November, also on this great eighth day of the eleventh month !

My boss will be treating a group of us to a KTV session at Party World in Orchard after work tomorrow ! In return, a group of us each forked out SGD20 for a surprise bikini model-shaped mango cake and 2 lovely ties, costing around SGD49 each for him!

That's because he used to treat us during lunches and would refuse money back from us. Partially also because he is our boss and is a lonely single middle aged guy who pines for a marriagable partner.

Sigh, talking about that, I wonder about my own life. I am turning 26 in 2 days' time and had been single for the past 2 years. I had been unhappy and lonely, spending my life in misery and pain. Thankful, life had been just slightly better for me now. Got a better job though it is still unstable and I am still struggling to stay afloat to prove myself well. Hopefully, all will be fine eventually.

That shall be one of my birthday wishes this year. My boss asked me what would I want for my birthday. Guess what I told him ?

Hahaha....I shall reveal the answer in a few days' time....
